Issue instructions requiring 3.7 m logs to be suitably restrained by strops or chains when transported by standard log wagons.

There is more than one way to address the problem of restraining 3.7 m logs and before we finally accept the recommendation we are trialling other alternatives such as reducing the speed of the train and re-spacing the wagon stanchions.
