It be a requirement that air transport operators' Operations Manuals and Training Manuals detail their operational and training procedures, minimum experience levels and en route meteorological minima for their Milford Sound operations.

This is addressed by amendment No. 31 to the Civil Aviation Regulations. Under the amended Regulation 191 this information is required to be incorporated in the training manual which forms part of the Operations Manual.
