Marine MO-2023-205: Bulk Carrier Achilles Bulker, loss of rudder, near Tauranga Port, 24 July 2023
The Achilles Bulker was departing Tauranga Port when it lost its rudder and suffered a steering failure in the main channel. The vessel dropped anchor and was later assisted by tugs to a safe anchorage.
