On 26 February 2025, the Commission recommended that Kawasaki Heavy Industries revise the Kawasaki BK117 B-2 Flight Manual to include specific data for Vortex Ring State to assist pilots in avoiding this phenomenon.

KHI is working on revising FLM to include specific data regarding the Vortex Ring State.
As planned, KHI will submit the application to Japan Civil Aviation Bureau, start discussion in April, and complete them by June.
On 8 August 2025, Kawasaki Heavy Industries provided an update:
We have completed the revision of FLM regarding VRS (Vortex Ring State) and have sent it to BK117 users.
