Executive summary
The aircraft was making an approach to the airstrip when it was observed to oscillate in pitch. The left wing failed and the aircraft dived into the ground, fatally injuring the pilot.
As the results of the Australian Ultralight Federation's wing tests were circulated to Resurgam owners in Australia and New Zealand, it was not considered necessary to make any additional recommendations.
